Each tour begins with a short 10 minute briefing
about safety and aerobatics. Then, it's flight
time! Over the backdrop of scenic Key West and
the outlying keys, your pilot, Fred Cabanas (over 24,000 flight hours) will perform hammerhead turns, rolls, stalls
& other mind blowing aerobatic feats on your flying adventure.
Join
the ranks of barnstormers, along with fighter
pilots and air show pilots, who have felt the
world turning and falling below them! NO amusement
park in the world can fully duplicate the feeling
of aerobatic flight and dancing among the clouds.
This versatile, show-stopping aerobatics pilot,
Fred Cabanas, from Key West, is also known as
the "General of the Conch Republic
Air Force." He will perform torque
rolls, knife-edge spins, double hammerheads, snap
rolls and other tumbling maneuvers in his Pitts S2-C biplane. Even
if you are not a pilot Fred will let you take
the controls.
ICAS ACE & Warbird Evaluator
tIf you are a seasoned pilot seeking your low level waiver, schedule your aerobatics competency evaluation with Fred Cabanas. You can have some fun in sunny Key West or Fred can come to you.
Fred holds an ICAS and EAA Warbird Surface Level 1 Unlimited in a North American T-6, -North American T-28, North American P-51 Mustang, Hawker Sea Fury, AD1 Sky Raider, Waco, Pitts Special, J-3 Cub. Fred is both an ICAS and EAA Warbird Evaluator. For ICAS, he can check you out for high-performance aerobatics, inverted ribbon cut, circle a jumper, and a comedy routine. As an EAA Warbird evaluator he can check you out in all Warbirds, including jets.
